Cafe Scientifique-Women was founded with a vision to create a supportive community for women pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. A safe space where young women and girls could talk about science over a warm cups of coffee, tea or chocolate. what began as an initmate conversation and project has blossomed into a community connecting women in STEM, sparking lightbulb moments and nurturing curiosity in rural communties, south east and nigeria at large. Our history traces back to a STEM woman CHIOMA AJA a passionate individual who recognized the unique challenges women face in these fields. she took up this vision and moblized other women who came together to foster an environment where knowledge, collaboration, and mentorship could flourish, paving the way for future generations of female scientists and engineers.
